Saturday, April 16th 2011 is RECORD STORE DAY. This is a day for us to celebrate and appreciate the joy of vinyl records. They are the only true tool and artifact for capturing sound and what we call music. Invented in 1877 by Thomas Edison (in New Jersey) phonograph and wax/vinyl technology has helped shape and mold the human experience in so many ways.

That being said, don't be some itunes or music blog whore. In the future-- eventually when we are wearing comfortable holographic sneakers that materialize out of some "iShoe" device, and Undefeated is a not to distant memory. Always remember why you loved the "artifact" in the first place, the people you met and what you learned through your journey. It is something to be held, loved, and cherished. and when its all said and done, its something very hard to get back........ Also, be ready for the igirlfriend and boyfriend, won't that just be swell!
