Stage 8 - July 11th - 176km [111m]
On Saturday's race the journey took the rider on another High Mountain course which started in Andorre-la-Vieille in Andorre back up into France ending in Saint Girons.
26 year old, Luis Leon Sanchez of Spain won on Saturday with a time of 4h, 31m, 50s.

Moving on to Sunday...
Stage 9 - July - 160km [99m]
The final day of a 3 day High Mountain stage started in Saint-Gaudens which ended in Tarbes.
31 year old, Pierrick Fedrigo of France was the first to exit the Pyrenees, with a time of 4h, 5m, 31s.
Having rode 9 days straight with a total distance of 634 kilometers or 394 miles, Monday marks the first of only 2 rest days. The second rest day is on July 20th.
On Tuesday the 14th, the race will resume going into 3 consecutive, Plain stages.
The current overall standings have Rinaldo Nocentini still holding his 1st place standing with 2007 TDF winner Alberto Contador in 2nd and his Astana team mate, Lance Armstrong in 3rd. Lance is only 8 seconds behind the leader, so it's still very much an open race. With 12 days left it can go in any direction.
